(EA) Zweihander

Super simple mod this time around, so the description will be short for once. I finally figured out a way to make a proper zweihander in early access, with parrying lugs and everything. I think the balance feels good, but all feedback is appreciated, so let me know if you have any issues with the handling.

This mod contains a gamesave that has a full suit of armour and the zweihander in the insured inventory. Since this equipment is insured, you can use it in free mode. There's also about 90k in the wallet to buy other weapons.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Modding and custom weapons currently dont function as they did before. Instead

of loading custom weapons through OVRDTH's selector, we instead replaced

the GameProgress.sav file.

This means that you will lose your current character and progress if you dont

first make a backup of your existing GameProgress.sav file before replacing it with this modded save.

Below is a step-by-step tutorial of how to find and replace the .sav file

1. press the windows key + R, this will open the "run" program on your pc

2. enter "%localappdata%" into the box and press enter, this will open your local roaming folder

3. in your local roaming folder, find the "HalfSwordUE5" folder and open it

4. enter the folder named "Saved", then "SaveGames"

5. here you will find a file called "GameProgress.sav". This is your current save file. Back it up to a safe place now

6. open the .zip file available for download on this nexus page

7. replace the "GameProgress.sav" file using the downloaded one

8. open the game. You should now see that your inventory is empty apart from the modded weapons & some clothes

10. If you want to return to your old save, simply replace the

"GameProgress.sav" file with the backup you made earlier. Repeat these

steps if you want to reinstall the mod
