(EA) Royal Armoury Weapon Pack

After over a month of tweaks, bugs introduced by updates, and countless game restarts, I'm proud to say I've finally finished working on the largest mod pack I have ever made. 31 unique weapons, some new and some returning from old packs, all manually tuned using the EA build's new custom mass feature.

Some good news! You don't need to completely replace your game save file anymore. Now, with the help of the fantastic Armory tool made by OVRDTH, we can directly add custom weapons to a player's existing save file. As far as I know, I'm the first mod author to work with this program in this way, so there may be some teething issues. Please be patient, and report any issues you experience in the comment tab.

For the sake of consistency, I will also include a full GameProgress.sav file for players who dont want to use this new system. I would advise against this, as the new OVRDTH Armory mod will likely become standard in the future, so it would be a good idea to familiarise yourself with it as soon as possible. The old install instruction for GameProgress.sav files will be at the bottom of the description.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS, READ ME:

• []Download the OVRDTH's Armory mod, extract the zip file contents to a folder. Huge thanks to OVRDTH for this program, hopefully the modded weapon scene will take off again thanks to his hard work on this program.

  []Download the uesave MSI installer and install the file onto your PC, this is required for OVRDTH's armory to function.

  []Download the file from the download page of this mod. It is a zipped folder called "ROYAL ARMOURY WEAPON PACK" that contains several .txt documents. These .txt documents store the information for each of the custom weapons, and OVRDTH's Armory will be able to read them and add them to your save file. Extract the folder and put it somewhere convenient for later use.

  []Open the "OVRDTHS_ARMORY.exe" file from the folder you created earlier.

  []Click the button labelled "Open GameProgress.sav".

  []It will open a file explorer window which we will use to navigate to our GameProgress.sav file. This is the point where people tend to get confused, please read carefully.

  []Follow this file structure to find your .sav file: C:\Users\\AppData\Local\HalfSwordUE5\Saved\SaveGames

  []Click on the GameProgress.sav file in this folder, then take a deep breath, the confusing bit is over. Doing this will return you to OVRDTH's armoury.

  []Now that we have our game file available to edit, we will click on the button labeled "Import Folder".

  []Navigate to where you placed the "ROYAL ARMOURY WEAPON PACK" mod folder, click on the folder, and all 31 weapons will be added to your insured weapons list.

  []OPTIONAL: The default free play character is pretty weak, I would recommend pressing the button labeled "Edit Free Mode" and setting your character's weight stat to 1. This is the soft cap for progression mode muscle mass, and it is what all of these weapons were tested with. Click "Apply" to return to the main menu.

  []Finally, click the button labeled "Save to .sav"

• You're done! all of the modded weapons will now be in your insured weapons list for use in free mode and progression mode.

Weapons included in this mod:

Starting off with an interesting one, this is a longsword with unique components that allow it to be held in one hand or two. This sword is specifically balanced around this feature, so it works well in either grip format. This is a handy sidearm, particularly when paired with a shield.

2. Basket Hilted Broadsword

A one handed cut and thrust sword from Scotland, features a heavy basket that protects the hand and allows the user to punch with the weapon.
