Realistic Visual 20. 0 – FusionFix Edition

For the last two years, this graphic preset has been constantly updated and improved.

About the ModRealistic Visual 20. 0 – FusionFix Edition is a fully reworked ReShade preset I spent nearly 4 days rebuilding, focusing on realism and balance without breaking GTA IV’s original atmosphere.

✔ Improved Anti-Aliasing – a much cleaner and smoother image without jagged edges

✔ Sharper Visual Clarity & Textures – the whole scene becomes cleaner and more defined

✔ Balanced, Realistic Color Correction – no more ugly filters

▫ removed strong green, blue, yellow color tints

▫ natural and cinematic tone mapping

▫ colors look realistic, pleasant, and smooth

✔ Enhanced Global Illumination (GI) – lighting becomes softer and more natural

✔ New Ambient Occlusion (AO) – subtle and realistic, not overpowered

▫ adds contact shadows on characters, cars, objects

✔ Bloom & Light Effects Rebalanced – not too bright, not washed out

✔ Improved Reflections – not mirror-like, but realistically soft and visible on surfaces

FusionFix (Short Info)FusionFix is highly recommended for stability, fixes, restored effects, and full compatibility with this preset.

InstallationDownload and install ReShade DX9 (only from the official website) for GTA IV.

Download FusionFix from https://fusionfix.io/iv, then locate the file d3d9.dll in the archive GTAIV. EFLC. FusionFix and rename it to FusionFix.dll.

This will not allow the game to run on Vulkan, but it enables the use of ReShade.

Copy all files from the Realistic Visual 20. 0 preset into your GTA IV folder and confirm file replacements.

Launch the game, press Home to open ReShade, and select my preset.

 !!! 

Important Note!!!

All shaders in this preset are bound to the ` key (tilde), which is usually located to the left of the number 1 on your keyboard.

Pressing it will toggle the shaders on and off.

In ReShade, the shaders panel is on the right side, though sometimes it might not be fully visible.
