The Gang

DESCRIPTION:

--- It's possible to join and leave The Gang individually for each character! ---

Join the Families and call Quick Jay for some street gang style Jobs. The jobs will vary depending on the in-game clock time (if you call between 02:00 and 08:00 you get to steal a car, between 08:00 and 14:00 you ride a bike and do stuff with your homies and so on).

The day is divided in 4 segments: 08:00 - 14:00 Jobs: Biking Around - Homies In Need - Snitch Test 14:00 - 20:00 Jobs: Shopping For The Fam - Crumbs To Pigeons 20:00 - 02:00 Jobs: Brawl Between Boys - Surprise Motherfuckers! 02:00 - 08:00 Jobs: For A Few Wheels More - One's Better Than None

After a Job is done there is a real time cool down of 15 mins (configurable in the Patron version) so that with the normal flow of game time it should be 1 job type per day.

If you call Quick Jay in those times of the day and you have more job opportunities available (for example between 14:00 - 20:00 there is the "shopping" one and now the "drug dealing" one) the job will be picked randomly. If you just completed/failed one, then the one without cooldown will be picked instead.

Some missions require you to recruit Families gang members (if you don't know where to find them, just go near them at the Hideout and they will join you. The gang members at the Hideout will respawn after the player has gone far enough away).

While you're in The Gang, completing enough missions increases the chance of being ambushed by rival gang members (if you fail a Job the completed mission counter will reset).

About the Gang Party event:

From time to time at 19 there will be a call from Quick Jay telling you a party is about to start. You don't have to go if you don't feel to but if you attend and stay long enough or you win a game of dice you will receive a bonus of 30% on the reward of the next two completed jobs.

Once at the party, to get the bonus, you can either play and win a game of dice or just enjoy yourself until you get the notice that you are a true homie. The party lasts around 8 minutes (real time).

You can change the multiplier between Parties in the settings file of the Patron version.

About the Hideout defense event:

From time to time (default randomly between 6 and 35 minutes) when not in a mission Quick Jay will alert you that the Hideout is under attack.

You can go there and help the homies to defend it (you have 3 minutes to reach the hideout) or you can just ignore it (or even run away). There are chances they win without your help but if they lose you also lose some money.

You can change how often the Hideout Attack takes place in the settings file that comes with the Patron Version.

My mods usually don't "hold your hand". There are no unnecessary blips and if you fail a job you will normally lose half of the reward. If you leave The Gang you'll have to wait 10 mins before you can join again (configurable in the Patron version).

As always I try to create an immersive, semi-randomized mod with high replayability.

After joining The Gang, Quick Jay's contact will appear pretty much at the end of your phone contacts list (just go up when browsing the list. Not much I can do about it)

You can tweak several settings such as rewards, mission cooldowns, Gang Party and Hideout Defense frequency, toggle rival gang attackers and enable or disable each individual job in the Patron version of this mod.

Recommended Mods (optional):

• Roleplay Menu (to dance, drink, smoke etc.. as you please and to have an immersive experience. Trailer here)
• Forever Together (if you want some company while doing gangster stuff)
• The Leader (if you want to manage your own gang)
• The Mob (brother of The Gang, they go perfectly together. Trailer here)
• The Club (as above, this time about the Lost MC. Trailer here)
• The Agency (all about stealth and secrecy)

ALL my mods are designed to work beautifully together. Give them a try for a more immersive and connected experience.

ATTENTION! If you notice strange NPCs behavior or script errors check first if those issues occur also when you are playing with the correct requirements and only with my mods.

REQUIREMENTS AND HOW TO INSTALL:

🔻Make sure you have the LATEST VERSIONS of them all🔻 Script Hook V ScriptHookVDotNet iFruitAddon2

Put the files from the downloaded archive into your "scripts" folder.

Disable BattlEye in your Rockstar Launcher or by adding the launch option -nobattleye

Remember after installing "ScriptHookVDotNet" to change the settings of its config file "ScriptHookVDotNet.ini" in your main GTAV folder: - ScriptTimeoutThreshold=60000

• If you have problems with the mission "Brawl Between Boys" with NPCs not fighting:

This is completely optional, it's only to have big melee fights with many NPCs fighting at once (original settings won't allow more than some NPC fighting together)
