Specialized Storage

Description

Specialized Storage gives Graveyard Keeper's themed storage furniture a real gameplay purpose.

The game includes several specialized storage structures that require more specific materials than an ordinary chest, but offer little practical advantage beyond where they can be placed.

This mod gives them a clear specialization instead: appropriate items can stack more densely in the storage where they logically belong, while ordinary storage, the player's inventory, and unrelated items remain completely vanilla.

Main features

Stack limits

Specialized stack size = vanilla stack size × 4, capped at 200.

Items with a vanilla stack size of 1 remain unchanged.

Themed storage

• Alchemy Rack — alchemy ingredients, potions, and other materials used in alchemy

• Household Utensils Rack — food, cooking ingredients, and kitchenware

• Scroll Shelf — paper, ink, writing tools, stories, notes, prayers, and scrolls

• Bookcase — chapters, book covers, books, and techbooks

• Mortuary Rack — body parts and embalming materials

Examples:

• Chapter: 10 → 40 (Bookcase)

• Red Wine: 20 → 80 (Household Utensils Rack)

• Blood: 30 → 120 (Mortuary Rack)

• Carrot: 50 → 200 (Household Utensils Rack)

• Health Solution: 50 → 200 (Alchemy Rack)

• Flour: 100 → 200 (Household Utensils Rack)

Stack marker

When a supported storage is open, suitable items display a small three-bar marker in the lower-left corner.

The marker indicates that the item can use the increased stack limit in that storage. It is informational only.
