📋 About This Mod
Reposition instead of Destroy.
Move Furniture
Tired of having to destroy a table, chest or decoration just to shift it
one tile to the left? This mod adds a real "Move" option to every build
desk, right next to "Remove" — pick up any placed object and relocate it
for free, with the exact same placement preview you get when building.
Because the object is never destroyed and recreated, everything about it
is preserved: chest contents, crafting progress, quality bonuses, its
save ID — literally the same object, just in a new spot.
- A "Move" button in the build desk's craft list, next to "Remove"
- Pick up any destructible placed object and drag it around, with the
same green/red placement preview as building
- Rotate while moving (R), if the object supports rotation
- Confirm with a click, cancel with right-click or Esc — cancelling puts
it back exactly where it was
- No resource cost, no waiting, no destroying and rebuilding
- 100% safe for saves: the object is repositioned, never deleted or
recreated, so inventories/progress/IDs are untouched
