What

A grab-bag of small tweaks and quality-of-life fixes I wanted in my own game. Each option is independently toggleable, so you can take only what appeals.

Audio and UI

• []Quiet music during menus — drops music volume whenever you open an in-game menu so it doesn't drown out the UI.[/]

  []Condense the XP bar — shortens the red/green/blue XP numbers on the HUD once they hit four digits (for example 12450 becomes 12. 4K) so the bar stays readable in the late game.[/]

  []Hide the Credits button on the main menu — for a tidier menu.[/]

  []Remove cinematic letterboxing — strips the black bars the game adds during sermons and cutscenes so the full screen stays visible.[/]

  Gameplay

  • []Skip the new-game intro video — drops you straight into play.[/]

    []Halloween year-round — keeps the Halloween event active outside its normal late-October window.[/]

    []Add coal to the tavern oven — the player tavern oven accepts coal as a fuel source alongside its normal firewood.[/]

    []Burn zombies in the pyre and crematorium — working zombies and bodies become valid inputs for both disposal stations. Makes it easier to cycle out underperforming workers without the workarounds vanilla forces on you.[/]

    []Single-use prayers — each prayer item is consumed when you pray. Optional — off by default. If you've always wondered why prayers were craftable if they were never consumed, this restores the "intended" behaviour.[/]

    []Lessen footprint impact — new footprints leave about half their normal dirt intensity so trails look subtler.[/]

    Movement

    • []Player speed multiplier — walk faster (1×–100×). 1 is vanilla speed; 2 is twice as fast, and so on. Don't combine with other speed mods.[/]

      []Porter speed multiplier — same idea for zombie porters (the backpack-wearing ones). 1 is vanilla; higher is faster.[/]

      Church

      • []Evict all church visitors — a button in the config menu that forces any stuck church visitors to leave immediately. Use this when villagers have lingered inside and are blocking the pulpit or benches (a known vanilla bug). The button asks for confirmation before running.[/]

        Easter eggs (Discord-requested)

        • []KitsuneKito Mode — adding the basic wooden fence to a grave drops a single blue XP orb. Off by default.[/]

          []Old English Throwback — changes the English sermon line "Our church is great!" to "Our church great!". Has no effect in other languages.[/]

          Other mods of mine you might like

          • []Rest In Patches — bundles the "keep the game running when unfocused", mute-when-unfocused, and footprint-fade fixes that used to live in this mod. If you're installing Misc Bits and Bobs, you probably want this too.[/]

            []Fog Be Gone — removes fog and optionally wind/rain. Pairs with the cinematic-letterboxing removal for a cleaner visual presentation.[/]

            []Show Me Moar — resolution, zoom, and HUD scaling control.[/]

            []Exhaust-less — half-cost / unlimited-stat / faster-meditation tweaks for less grind.[/]
