TwitchIntegrationMod

Description

A mod that lets your Twitch viewers mess with your playthrough in real time. They can spawn monsters on top of you, give you items, take items away, teach or remove skills, and bump your stats up or down — all from chat.

There's also DonationAlerts support, so donors can write a command in their donation message and it'll fire in-game. Twitch Bits support is in there too but it's not fully working yet, so it's off by default.

I hope I wrote clear enough instructions for someone to get this working.

Installation instructions

Everything you need — full instructions, all item IDs, skill names, monster names, token setup for DonationAlerts — is in the included DESCRIPTION.md file. Read that first.

Main features

Type in chat → something happens in your game. That's pretty much it.

    Heads up

    This hasn't been heavily tested. Some things to know:

    • []Not every command has been verified to actually work in-game[/]

      []No real stress testing was done[/]

      []Twitch can drop the chat connection sometimes — the bot reconnects automatically, but you might miss a command or two during that window[/]

      []DonationAlerts WebSocket can be finicky depending on your token, network, or if they change their API[/]

      []Bits integration is coded but hasn't been confirmed working end-to-end[/]

    It works fine for casual streaming. Just don't be surprised if something weird happens occasionally.
