📋 About This Mod

Prisoner Crafting lets prisoners work benches inside prison cells so they can dismantle raid junk and make training targets instead of sitting idle. It is a hybrid mod and requires both the GM PrisonerCraft native mod folder and the

Description

I made Prisoner Crafting because I hoard raid loot. I keep every junk weapon and piece of armor for dismantling, but settlers can never keep up with the pile while prisoners sit in their cells doing nothing.

This mod lets prisoners put that time to use. They can spend the day breaking down battle loot or making target practice targets and dummies instead of just loafing around in prison.

Only prisoners will work a workstation placed inside a prison cell. The mod is primarily focused on item dismantling and crafting target practice targets and dummies. Other prisoner workstation tasks may also be possible, but they are not the intended focus of the mod.

This is a hybrid mod and requires both:

  • []BepInEx[/]

[]the local native mod files in your Going Medieval Mods folder[/]

Installation instructions

The zip contains two things:

  • []GM PrisonerCraft folder[/]

    []PrisonerCraftingPlugin.dll[/]

You need to put them in two different places.

  • []Open prisonercraft.zip.[/]

[]Extract the folder GM PrisonerCraft into your Going Medieval mods folder:

    C:\Users\<your username>\Documents\Foxy Voxel\Going Medieval\Mods\[/]

[]After extracting, this file should exist here:

    C:\Users\<your username>\Documents\Foxy Voxel\Going Medieval\Mods\GM PrisonerCraft\ModInfo.json[/]

[]Extract PrisonerCraftingPlugin.dll into your Going Medieval BepInEx plugins folder:

    Going Medieval\BepInEx\plugins\[/]

[]After extracting, this file should exist here:

    Going Medieval\BepInEx\plugins\PrisonerCraftingPlugin.dll[/]

    []Start the game.[/]

[]Enable the native mod in the in-game mod list if it is not already enabled.[/]

[]Fully restart the game so both the native mod files and the plugin DLL load correctly.[/]

Important

  • []The GM PrisonerCraft folder does not go into BepInEx\plugins.[/]

[]PrisonerCraftingPlugin.dll does not go into your Mods folder.[/]

[]You need both parts installed for the mod to work.[/]

    []winhttp.dll[/]

    []doorstop_config.ini[/]

[/]

[]Start the game once.[/]

[]Close the game after it reaches the main menu.[/]

[/]

What this mod is for

This mod is mainly for players who end up with too much battle loot and want prisoners to help process it. It is built around prison-room workshop labor, especially junk breakdown and basic training-equipment production.

What this mod is not focused on

  • []It is not mainly intended as a full prisoner colony overhaul.[/]

[]It is not mainly intended to make prisoners do every possible workstation task.[/]

[]Other workstation behavior may work, but that is not the design focus.[/]

Requirements

[]Requires Going Medieval with mod support enabled.[/]

[]Compatible with game version 1. 0. 88+.[/]

[]Requires BepInEx.[/]

[]Requires the included PrisonerCraftingPlugin.dll.[/]

[]Requires the included GM PrisonerCraft native mod folder.[/
