White Phosphor NVG ReShade

HOW TO INSTALL

• []Download the preset ZIP file - Once downloaded, extract it either to your game's base directory (where GRB.exe is located), or add it to a new folder in the base directory.

  []Download the official ReShade .exe from reshade.me and run it, following the simple installation prompts - During the .exe install, you'll be prompted to select an ".ini" preset - this will be the preset the game defaults to on startup. Make sure you select NEXT and not skip.

  RECOMMENDATIONS & SETUP

  This preset is intended to only be used with night vision. With NVGs off, I run a slightly modified version of ArrKayCee's Reduced Haze and Added Contrast preset, which I highly recommend and was the base preset I used to create the white phosphor preset.

  Once the game is launched your default preset is automatically turned on in ReShade. Below are the steps I took to setup a toggle key between your default preset and the white phosphor NVG preset:

  • []Press 'Home' on your keyboard to bring up the ReShade menu.

    []On the menu's Home Tab, confirm the default preset you prefer to run without NVGs is selected first in the drop-down menu (blue bar at top).

    []From the drop-down menu, select the 'white phos.ini' and click 'Select'.

    []Click on the Settings Tab. Under 'General', find the 'Next Preset Key' option and change input to whichever key you want to use as a toggle between your presets. I found 'H' as the best option as it allows me to press it simultaneously with 'V' when I turn on or off my night vision.

  • Use your new hot key to toggle on the white phosphor NVG preset on when you hit your key bind for 'Cycle Vision' (default is V).

    I recommend you use this preset with Darkest Night ON.
