UI Widget Purge

Description

UI Widget Purge removes the HUD pop-ups/widgets from all drones and binoculars that hand you enemy intel for free. No more red archetype card telling you exactly what every enemy is and what it carries, and no more "VISUAL DETECTION" banner above the mini map announcing that you've been spotted. You identify threats yourself and judge the situation by what you see and hear. The widgets are hidden at the UI layout level, so everything else in your HUD and HUD settings works normally.

Installation instructions

• []Open Anvil Toolkit.

  DataPC_extra.forgesits in the main game directory, so press the

  Up Arrow

  key once to go back one folder level, then find

  DataPC_extra.forge.[/]

  []Unpack

  DataPC_extra.forge.[/]

  []Copy the mod files into the unpacked

  DataPC_extra.forgefolder, and replace the existing files when asked.[/]

  []Repack the forge in Anvil Toolkit.[/]

  []Launch the game.[/]

  Main features

  • []No enemy info card in binoculars. The red "RIFLEMAN – Unit carrying standard equipment" panel is gone.[/]

    []No enemy info card in the recon drone.[/]

    []No enemy info card in the Pathfinder drone.[/]

    []No "VISUAL DETECTION" label above the minimap.[/]

    []Everything else is kept: compass, range readout, drone battery and signal, markers, and the minimap itself.[/]

    []Works with any HUD settings preset.[/]
