I died a loser after getting dumped because I only knew one position, so I asked the goddess to let me master every position imaginable in my next life. But when I woke up, nothing was what I expected.

Backstory

I lived the life of a complete loser. I was this close to finally scoring...

...but she dumped me because I only knew one position.

Devastated, rejected, and questioning every poor life decision that had led me to that moment, I wandered the streets in despair.

Unfortunately, Truck-kun saw me before I saw him.

When I opened my eyes, I found myself standing before the most beautiful goddess I had ever seen.

She looked at me with pity.

"You truly lived a miserable life."

She offered me another chance.

"I shall reincarnate you into another world and grant you one wish..."

"...provided that wish isn't me."

Without a second of hesitation, I blurted out:

"I want the ability and knowledge to perform any position I want!"

The goddess smiled.

Not a kind smile.

A smug smile.

The kind of smile that should have warned me something was terribly wrong.

She snapped her fingers.

The next thing I knew, I was sitting inside a helicopter headed for Auroa.

I had inherited the skills, combat experience, and instincts of Anthony "Nomad" Perryman.

Everything seemed perfect...

...until I realized what the goddess had actually granted me.

Unlike every other Ghost on the island, I possessed a unique divine blessing.

I alone had the forbidden knowledge to change the position of my weapon while it was slung on my back.

The goddess knew exactly what I meant.

She just chose to be a btch.

What This Mod Does

This mod changes the default sling position of your stowed primary weapon by editing the backpack skeleton.

The goal is to create a somewhat more natural and aesthetically pleasing (for me, at least) weapon-carry position on the backpack compared to the vanilla game.

Current Sling Positions

Primary Weapon Position

The primary weapon position stays relatively close to the vanilla placement but has been subtly adjusted.

The rifle is slightly skewed so that the muzzle angles forward, giving it the appearance of actually hanging from a sling rather than being rigidly attached to the backpack.
