RSCN - CCS Tribune - M-02 Hagelskur Missile Corvette

CRAFT STATS AT BOTTOM with the Southern expansion well underway the RSCN became increasingly aware of the possibility of this small expansion becoming a longer and more drawn out campaign as they initially anticipated. A select few in the admiralty logistics board saw the lack of forward supply bases to be a potential weakness in a longer conflict that may cripple expansion efforts and draw out the expansion. While vast amounts of resource were being diverted to the REVO and KARTR projects in order to help plug this ever gaping hole; an inter-mediatory solution was needed in order to sustain combat operations. The CCS Tribune class of warships was the unconventional outcome of this thinking. Taking a vastly more forward thinking approach deemed by some to be a waste of ever dwindling resource's. The CCS Tribune line constitutes 3 classes of state of the art light Corvette's, designed for specific combat support roles rather than the more versatile designs of other RSCN warships. Built off a base frame, much like the praetorian Line of combat frigates, the Tribune line is designed to augment the capabilities of their assigned escort effectively allowing them to hold the position of a more capable warship in the flotilla while other warships return for resupply. This way of thinking enabled combat operations to continue while project REVO and KARTR were completed. The CCS Tribune M-02 Hagelskur is specialised for general combat support operations. Designed to field several support weapons systems focused on system disruption on enemy targets. At a length of 65m, width of 17m and a height of 13m the M-02 is the smallest capital class vessel in service with the RSCN. This small frame allows the vessel to achieve a respectable speed and manoeuvrability rating that's less than high end warships but still able to keep up with battle groups.
