Features

This mod allows for complete camera control in both gameplay and cutscenes.

The camera can be moved freely in any direction and positioned at any angle. This makes it possible to look behind objects and scenery, see areas that are normally hidden, view battles from different angles, get closer to characters and objects, and take screenshots from almost any viewpoint.

Camera settings such as the camera position and control target, are reset between game sessions. When the free camera is enabled again, it starts with its default state rather than preserving the settings from the previous session. For example, if you switch from camera control to character control and then disable the free camera, it will start in character control the next time it is enabled.

All keyboard controls can be customized through the mod configuration menu. Hotkeys use key codes, which bind to physical keyboard positions regardless of the keyboard layout. Controller hotkeys are not supported.

Controls

Enables or disables Free Camera mode.

Target

Controls the camera target. Mouse movement can also control it, but cannot be rebound.

Camera

Moves the camera along its three movement axes.

Rotation

Controls the camera's roll rotation.

Field of View

Controls the camera's field of view.

Speed

Controls camera movement speed. Mouse-wheel scrolling can also adjust the speed, but cannot be rebound.

Others

Freezes or unfreezes the game world.

Advances the game by one frame while the game world is frozen.

Saves the current camera settings and persists them between game sessions.

Loads the last saved camera settings when available for the current location.

Switches keyboard control between the camera and the character. A controller can always control the character.

Toggles whether party members follow the party leader or remain standing still.

Shows or hides a window with current camera positions, field of view, roll, and speed.

Shows or hides the user interface.

Installation
