What is the Clan Centurio Equipment Progression?

This mod completely transforms how equipment evolves in Final Fantasy XII. Upon joining Clan Centurio, Montblanc gives you a special item: the Centurio Sigil, a magical stone that absorbs the essence of defeated foes.

Each time you rank up in the clan, the Centurio Sigil can be upgraded and with it, all of your weapons, armor, and accessories become more powerful. The goal is to ensure that any equipment, even items from the beginning of the game, can remain useful all the way to the end of your journey.

Unique progression for each level

The mod doesn't offer a single fixed progression. Instead, it provides a complete structure for you to define how each piece of equipment transforms as the Centurio Sigil evolves.

You can:

• []Customize attributes like Attack, Defense, MP, Critical, Magick, Speed, Vitality, and more.

  []Set elemental properties (Fire, Ice, Thunder, etc.) for each level.

  []Add on-hit effects such as Poison, Blind, or Petrify. Choose one or multiple per level.

  []Grant passive on-equip statuses like Regen, Bravery, or Haste. Choose one or multiple per level.

  []Define immunities to negative statuses like Silence, Doom, or Petrify. Choose one or multiple per level.

  []Configure elemental affinities, allowing equipment to absorb, resist, or be weak to specific elements at each level.

  []You have full control over what gets added, when, and how much for every stat, effect, and affinity across all levels.

  There are 13 possible progression levels:

  You start at level 0, with no upgrades. From there, you can progress through 12 levels. Each one can completely change how the equipment behaves, enabling you to create anything from simple enhancements to true legendary relics.

  In addition to stat progression, each upgrade level changes the equipment’s visual rarity, affecting how it appears in-game, making it easier to spot powerful gear at a glance. This helps identify what level your Centurio Sigil is at.

  The rarity tiers are:

  • []Level 0 to +2             →       Common

    []Level +3 to +5          →       Uncommon

    []Level +6 to +8          →       Rare

    []Level +9 to +10        →       Epic

    []Level +11                    →       Legendary

  • Level +12                   →       Mythic

    This editor was built to give full freedom to anyone who wants to design their own equipment progression. You decide how each item evolves as your Centurio Sigil grows stronger from basic attributes to special effects, elements, and resistances.

    Everything is done visually and intuitively: you choose what changes at each level and watch the transformation happen. In the end, just apply it to the game and enjoy your creation.

    The tool doesn’t come with a pre-made progression, it gives you the foundation based on vanilla.

    You can start from scratch, draw inspiration from other players, or even share your own presets with the community.
