Less Exclamatory Farmer

I love this game to bits, but while I was at first amused by the dialogue options, they quickly became so grating to me that I decided to learn how to mod. So here we are. No longer are your two choices "Excited Golden Retriever" and "Excited Golden Retriever (rude)". Now Ari is a calm, somewhat standoffish ex-adventurer.

This is very much a personal project, so Ari's character might not be your cup of tea. They have an antiquated, stilted way of speaking, are formal with those they don't know very well, and only slowly warm up to Mistria's citizens. Like the original, they are still prone to puns and snark.

Keep in mind that English isn't my first language, and that I have barely proofread this, so there will be spelling errors. Please feel free to point them out to me.

Compatability:

Theoretically this mod conflicts with other dialogue mods like March Expanded. Caterpixie has made a compatability patch however.

If you're unsure and things are not working, just put LEF as high up in your load order as possible and you should be fine.

Installation:

1. Install the latest MOMI release from here: https://github.com/Garethp/Mods-of-Mistria-Installer/releases to the FoM game folder.

2. Extract the mod to your mod folder (probably something like \steamapps\common\Fields of Mistria\mods).

3. run ModsOfMistriaInstaller.exe, make sure to tick all the mods you want to install.

4. click "Install" and wait for the tool to finish.

5. You're done :)

When updating from a previous version please remember to first uninstall your old version before installing the new one.

There is also a second file that's an even more personal project. It contains all the changes made in the main file, but some of Mistria's citizens acknowledge with a sort of embarrassed surprise that Ari is an elf. Not Caldarus though. He doesn't know what elves are and assumes it is just some new flavour of human. NONE OF THIS IS LORE ACCURATE you have been warned.
