What It Does:

This mod displays an alert message and plays an alert sound whenever the player activates a random encounter trigger.

Adds two lines of code to the script that runs whenever the player hits a given encounter trigger point for the first time. One line plays the "intercom alert" sound that is used during the birthday party portion of character generation; the other displays the message "Random Encounter Triggered!" for five seconds. That's all it does. It doesn't add any quests or map markers, and it doesn't tell you which encounter has been triggered. Note that the message will display even if you get the "no encounter" result.

Why did I do this?:

I wanted a simple, low-key notification to let me know when I had triggered an encounter so that I could find out exactly where all the trigger points are.

Compatibility:

This mod will probably conflict with any other mod that makes changes to the script named FFETriggerScript.
