📋 About This Mod

This doesn't need Reshade

or similar external tools to change the looks of the game.

Its an Mod for the game, that changes the LUTs (look up tables) of the world and interiors lighting.

There are Two versions of the Mod:

A preset from Fallout 76 NW (my guess) from the game files

and an version similar to the original mod.

At some point i will check out the other presets that are in the game and if they are worth an upload.

(This mod also can change the photo-mode filters or make photo-mode filters as default look for the game. If you guys want that)

Lit objects appear more vibrant in colors.

Sunrises will lay the world in a vibrant orange warm light and glow.

Fire and lazers look more saturated and bright.

Glowing mushrooms are glowier and much more :)

Nights appear maybe a little bit more moody and less saturated.

More Vibrancy

Overall more vibrant colors in daylight and night time

inside shelters and buildings.

Feel free to make own version of this mod, with cooler and better lighting conditions,

this seems to have a lot of potential.

Quick words from my Side:

This is a more saver re-upload of this mod, so i don't get in trouble.

I recreated the mod with the original game files and an older mod as reference, that was previously on Nexus but got removed around late 2018.

Sadly i couldn't figure out who the original author of the mod was, so i had to make my own version of it.

Luckily  found Fallout 4 mods who did similar things, where i learned about LUTs a bit and what they do (still an complicated topic to me).

To the unknown original author, if you still out there,

Love this mod!

  • Two distinct versions let you pick your preferred look, from subtle to more vibrant
  • Active author (last updated Dec 2025) and open to community feedback and variations

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Make sure to create the Fallout76Custom.ini file in your Documents\My Games\Fallout 76 folder if it doesn't exist, and add the necessary lines to enable mods.
  • Try both versions (Nucleus and More Vibrancy) to see which fits your taste—you can switch by replacing the files in the Data folder.
  • Since this mod changes LUTs, it may affect photo mode—if you use photo mode a lot, test it and see if you like the new filters.
