📋 About This Mod
You probably won't be banned for using client-side texture mods I believe,
but just in case, this is a warning that they might do it.
Installation:
(This is just for first time users. I had a lot of trouble of installing it and made a mistake of installing it to the game files instead of documents, so thought giving some tips to make it work. If you still have questions, please don't hesitate to ask, I'll be happy to help!)
____________________________________________________________________________________
1. Copy "Black_Marine-Wetsuit.ba2" to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda.net Launcher\games\Fallout76\Data"
2. Go to "C:\Users\\Documents\My Games\Fallout 76" and copy "Fallout76Custom.ini" to that location.
(If you have other mods installed, then just add "Black_Marine-Wetsuit.ba2" to the list instead.)
Replace with your username.
If installed elsewhere, change C:\ to D:\ or E:\ etc for where your installed files are located.

📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros

- Author includes step-by-step install guide for beginners
- Lightweight mod with no dependencies
⚠️ Cons
- Author warns of potential ban risk for using client-side mods
- Last updated in 2019 — may not work with current game patches
- Only affects your own view; others won't see the change
For Fallout 76 players who want a darker, more tactical look for their Marine Wetsuit without affecting gameplay. If you're new to modding and worried about bans, this mod's warning might make you think twice. Skip if you want multiplayer-visible changes or gameplay tweaks.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure to copy the .ba2 file to the correct Data folder, not the game's main directory — the author specifically warns about this mistake.
- If you already have mods, add the .ba2 filename to your existing Fallout76Custom.ini instead of overwriting it.
- Back up your original Fallout76Custom.ini before replacing it, so you can revert if something goes wrong.
