📋 About This Mod

I've always felt like the Astoundingly Awesome Magazine Perk that regenerated 1 health per minute was not noticable enough so this FO4Edit created mod will override the 1 health per minute regeneration rate and triples it so you regenerate 1 health approximately every 15 seconds.  I've also provided additional files for faster regeneration rates.

Vanilla: 1 health every minute 2x: 1 health every 30s Main File: 1 health every 15s 6x: 1 health every 5s 10x: 1 health every 1s

Optional: As suggested by Anduran19, an optional esp file has been added that will enable in-combat health regen to match out-of-combat health regen.  The multiplier defaults to 0 so the vanilla setting is to effectively disable in-combat health regen.

Installation -------------- Place ONE of the esp files into your Data folder If you are activating this mod with an existing save, then you will need to run my batch file (bat resetregen) to remove and then re-add the Perk that the Astoundingly Awesome Magazine gives you.

Instructions for manual installation: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Fallout_4_Mod_Installation Don't forget to update your plugins.txt if you are installing mods manually.

Uninstall -------------- Remove the esp file from your Data folder and update plugins.txt

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

Regen More Health is a small Fallout 4 perk mod that triples the health regeneration rate of the default Astoundingly Awesome Health Regen perk, restoring 1 HP every 15 seconds instead of 45. It's a simple, focused tweak for players who want faster passive healing without other changes.

✨ Key Features

Triples the health regeneration rate of the Astoundingly Awesome perk
Restores 1 HP every 15 seconds instead of the default 45 seconds
Simple perk modification with no additional features

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Straightforward and effective – you heal three times faster, which is a solid QoL boost for survival runs
  • Community-tested with 270 endorsements and nearly 10k downloads, so it's proven to work
  • Lightweight and focused – does exactly what it says without extra bloat

⚠️ Cons

  • Only affects the Astoundingly Awesome perk, so if you don't use that perk, this mod does nothing for you
  • Old mod (last updated in 2015) – may not be compatible with newer game patches or DLCs
  • No compatibility patches or updates, so it could conflict with other perk overhauls that modify the same perk
🎯 Is This For You?
For Fallout 4 players who rely on the Astoundingly Awesome perk and want faster passive healing without using chems or armor mods. It's perfect for survival mode where health regen is scarce. Skip if you're looking for a comprehensive perk overhaul – this is a single, narrow tweak.
📦 Install:Easy· Under 1 minute

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Make sure you have the Astoundingly Awesome perk unlocked before expecting the effect – it only modifies that specific perk.
  • If you're using a mod manager like Nexus Mods' Vortex, just download and install; load order rarely matters for simple perk edits.
  • Since the mod is old, test it in a new game or after a save backup to ensure it works with your current setup.
