📋 About This Mod

This mod adds a vending machine that randomly sells weapons from the mods you have installed.

This mod adds a 'Random Weapon Vending Machine' to the settlement building menu, which randomly sells weapons from the mods you have installed. It directly reads weapon data from your installed mods via F4SE, so there’s no need to modify any ESP files or perform additional steps.

If the game crashes when loading save files or the filter settings don’t work, download and use the option file from the file tab.

This mod does not work with the Next-Gen.

Version 1. 3. 3 Update:

  • Some mods add numerous legendary effects with no actual abilities, solely for the purpose of attaching descriptions. These effects will no longer be applied to the equipment in the legendary box.

To use the machine, first enter build mode, then navigate to the Stores > Weapons tab. There, you will find the 'Random Weapon Vending Machine' and can craft it.

When you activate the vending machine, it will sell a random selection of weapons based on the configured number and price multiplier. Just like other vendors, the selection of weapons will refresh periodically.

In the MCM menu under 'Random Weapon Vending Machine,' you can view the mod description and adjust various settings. You can configure how many weapons will be available per refresh, set the price multiplier for sold weapons, and choose whether to include vanilla weapons in the random selection.

The machine occasionally sells boxes containing Legendary weapons, and the appearance rate of these boxes can also be configured in the MCM.

This vending machine sells weapons at very high prices, so if a weapon you want appears but the required bottlecaps are lacking, you may feel tempted to use cheats or console commands. Instead, you can avoid this by pulling the lever on the right side of the vending machine. This will temporarily freeze the weapon selection, allowing you to keep the current items for a set period.

(new) This mod contains code to automatically exclude weapons that cannot be used or were not intended to be used, but it may not be perfect. Selecting 'Open Weapon Exclusion Filter' will open the container menu. If you place such weapons in it, they will no longer appear in the sales list thereafter.

I don't know English at all, so all the English on this page and within the mod was translated by ChatGPT. All of the mod's text can be edited in the interface/Translations folder's files and within the ESP, so if you find any awkward phrasing or need a different language, feel free to modify it as you like.
