NISTRON HD Color System for Pip-Boy Power Armor and Terminals

What is this

Upgrade the displays of your Pip-Boy, Power Armor HUDs and Terminals in a most immersive way and choose from 4 new high definition screen types:

HD Mono Green (P31 Phosphor), HD Mono Amber (P20 Phosphor), HD Mono White (P4 Phosphor) and HD Color (RGB Phosphors).

These HD displays have no scanlines (hence the HD) and they do not flicker.

Unlike editing values in the ini file, the conversions from this mod apply individually. Means you can have a terminal with an amber screen next to one with a green screen while your T-60 PA has a white monochrome HUD and your Pip-Boy is set for color. Meanwhile, vanilla terminals placed by Bethesda in the game world can remain unchanged - if you like.

Fully compatible with FallUI.

Does not affect Pip-Boy light color settings.

Brief How-To

Pip-Boy configuration is available directly through the NISTRON HD Color System MCM menu.

Power Armor HUD can be changed by special Helmet OMODs, craftable at any power armor station. T-45, T-51, T-60 and X-01 supported.

Terminal conversion kits can be built at the chem station and applied to most terminals in the game with the Firmware Loader Holotape.

You can build the firmware loader holotape at the chem station as well.

To modify a terminal, you need both a terminal conversion kit and the firmware loader holotape in your inventory.

Both may be constructed at the chem station.

Load the holotape into the desired terminal and select the conversion kit you would like to apply.

The conversion kit will be consumed in the process, the holotape will return to your inventory.

You'll also receive a conversion kit box with the previously installed Cathode Ray Tube in it. Usually a cheap, inferior RobCo one.

You can use the boxes for decoration as well, if you so desire.
