Changelog:
Version 1. 16
- Fixed inability to exit sneak mode via a dedicated key after using blocking.
- Removed lower-body jitter when turning in place.
- Reworked Combo into Combo-Follow Up.
- Added patch for Extended and cancellable melee block window
Version 1. 14
- Removed movement restriction when doing melee attacks. This fixes numerous issues like bad transitions (anim cuts off) during AttackForwardA/B when using short/knife weapons, being forced to move in a current direction until attack animation fully finishes and inability to change attack direction until your current directional attack fully ends. This also fixes camera glitch when rotating the camera around player and attacking.
- Fixed unequip sounds not working at all and removed equip sounds on unequip.
- Holstering melee weapon now forces a random Idle Flavor to be played right away. I feel like you dont see those enough naturally since you need to stand still for a few seconds and then some.
Version 1. 12
- Restored controller animations that i broke.
- Fixed potential direction lock on walk-run transitions.
- Added optionals with combined edits.
Version 1. 11
- Fixed movement direction lock when you start moving on sneak mode exit transition. (When movement input starts during crouch up animation).
- Consistent Move Stop to reduce sliding.
- Consistent foot sync across Ready, Relaxed, Sneak locomotion states. (Tapping move key or switching walk-run will cycle the legs in order).
- Fixed Unequip locomotion reset.
- Added patch for Melee Hold Block
Version 1. 1
- Added changes from "3rd Person Behavior Fixes" which are the same, one hundred percent changes from Tactical Reload to support "Sprinter's Legendary effect modifies sprinting speed" feature.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 2,072 endorsements and 139k downloads.
- Fixes a specific immersion-breaking issue for sneaky melee builds.
- Lightweight behavior edit—no new meshes or textures to worry about.
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects crouched melee locomotion—no impact on other animations.
- Requires a mod manager for proper installation (likely).
- Last updated December 2024—may need testing with the latest Skyrim version.
For stealth-focused players who notice the clunky animation transitions when attacking while crouched in third person. If you're a melee assassin or thief who spends time sneaking, this makes combat feel smoother. Skip if you play first-person only or don't care about animation polish.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Use a mod manager like Vortex or Mod Organizer 2 to install—manual extraction can break the behavior file.
- Load this mod after other animation mods to ensure it takes priority.
- Test in third-person with a dagger or sword while sneaking to see the difference.
