📋 About This Mod
Description
Users of mods like Darker Nights might have noticed that rain ripples on water surfaces appears to be solid white despite the none existent ambient lighting. I find that very distracting so I've made a mod to fix this issue.
Take a look at the screenshot tab where you can find an animated gif to get a better idea of what I'm actually talking about.
New in version 1. 2
The water foam circles you can see at Libertalia got their brightness reduced.
Installation
Just use your favourite mod manager to install the files. If this is your first mod you may want to watch the tutorial from Gopher to get started. If something should still be unclear, just drop a comment and I would be glad to help you out.
To uninstall this mod, simply deactivate/delete it in your mod manager. No special preperations are necessary because no scripts and plugins are involved.
I've made an installer where you can choose between 5 different brightness/transparency levels for the ripples. Screenshots for easy comparison are included.
Load Order
This mod changes only 1 texture and no plugin is needed so you don't need to worry about your load order sorting.
Technical stuff
The textures are compressed with BC7 and have proper mipmaps.
This mod is not made, guaranteed, or supported by Zenimax, Bethesda Game Studios, or any of their affiliates.

For Skyrim players who use dark night mods and hate seeing bright white ripples on water during rain. If you're all about immersion and visual consistency, this is a must-have. Skip if you play with default lighting or don't care about water details.
