📋 About This Mod
Gun Mover is a power and fantastic tool that lets you reposition your weapons in first person.
Setting it all up however, takes a fair bit of time and digging around in the Creation Kit or xEdit in order to find all the Form ID's you need.
To help with that, I've put together these presets which includes every available weapon for the Vanilla game, all the DLC, and the Creation Club content.
Note that there are 3 weapons I just could not get to work no matter what I did. They are the "Flare Gun", "Grognak's Axe", and CC "BFG 9000"
With these presets, most weapons are pushed slightly further away from your face. In my mind it feels more natural, as if you actually have your weapons out and ready to engage a threat. Some weapons, such as the Institute Laser guns, were pushed out a fair bit more. No longer will it take up 1/4 of your view as if you're perpetually sniffing the charred plastic!
Want to tweak it further or just don't like something I did? Totally fine! I've also included a reference text document to help locate things easier. Using the in-game interface for Gun Mover, you can adjust things more to your liking and replace my values, with your preferred ones.
The main advantage with these presets being that you just don't have to spend a whole day or two looking for all those pesky Form ID's.
A preset pack for Gun Mover that covers all vanilla, DLC, and Creation Club weapons in Fallout 4. With 97 endorsements and nearly 10k downloads, it's a niche utility for players who want consistent weapon positioning. Last updated July 2025.
