Gone Fishin

Need some time to relax?  Time to head on down to the ol' fishin' hole.  Grab your tackle and cut some bait.  We're goin' fishin'!

First thing you'll need is a Fishin' Pole.  Sure, there's lots of rods layin' around the Commonwealth, but with no line and no hooks, yer up a creek.  Good thing you know a thing or two about makin' tackle.  Take any fishin' rod you find to your nearest Chem Station and string it up with some plastic line, and make some steel hooks, you'll have a Fishin' Pole!

Next, you'll need some bait!  Flies make the best bait, and we got some pretty darn big flies around here.  Stop by a cookin' fire and cut up some Bloatfly Meat that those fishes won't be able to resist!

All that's left is to find a place to cast off.  Obviously, you'll need to find some water.  Darn fish just won't come up on land for ya.  Don't forget yer patience!  Fishin's a day-long activity!  Toss out yer lure and wait for a bite.  Never know what you'll fish up in these post-apocalyptic waters!

The Fishing Pole is a "weapon" that must be "fired" at water, and uses Bait as "ammo".  Randomly fishes up fish, depending on your location.  Trout, pike, and bluegill in lakes and creeks; haddock, mackerel, and salmon in the rivers and oceans.  Also fishes up a lot of junk.

Included in the mod are nine new cooking recipes (plus bait) in their own category (Fish) at cooking stations.  Raw fish heals and has rads like any other raw food.  Cooked fish has no rads.  Some good buffs from them, too.

Fishing only works in water, obviously.

Requires Nuka-World and Far Harbor.  Sorry, I can't make a vanilla version as it uses assets from both DLC.
