📋 About This Mod

CREDITS

Uses various models for interpolation created by the following authors:

Alsa, buildist, DinJerr, Kingdomakrillic, LyonHrt, nmkd, Twittman, ZaphodBreeblebox

DESCRIPTION

Vanilla-friendly retexture of Dogmeat, Vicious Dogs, and the unused German Shepherd. Done with a combination of AI upscaling using various specialized models and scratch-made texture work.

To my knowledge "dogdad.dds", which resembles a German Shepherd, is unused in the game. Feel free to replace Dogmeat's texture with it by renaming it to "dog.dds" if you want an alternative look for Dogmeat. I am pretty sure all other dog variants just reuse those 2 texture sets, but feel free to point out if I missed any dog related assets.

INSTALLATION

Using Vortex - overwrite if asked. Using MO2 - put it below other mods containing these textures (higher priority).

For Fallout 4 players who want their canine companions to look sharper without straying from the game's original art direction. If you're a modder or player who appreciates subtle, high-quality texture upgrades, this is a solid pick. Skip if you're looking for dramatic visual overhauls or gameplay changes.
