📋 About This Mod

This is a collection of the interface mods that I personally use. I reinstalled Morrowind and Oblivion about a million times, having to track down mods all over again each time. This time I\'ve learned my lesson and am uploading compilations of mods, combined by category, to fallout nexus. Basically, I\'m using it as a free offsite backup, and allowing those of you whose preferences match mine to save some time. Either use archive invalidator invalidated or edit the text file yourself. If you do neither, the textures probably won\'t work. All this stuff will look best if you change the pipboy screen color to white through the game menu. Change both menu and HUD or some text will still be green. I have no idea why Bethesda would set it up like this. I\'ve added the previous removed colored map icons as an optional extra. They\'re not the default because I don\'t like them, but I figured I might as well include them. I\'ve also added a second version of the mod pack that adds item descriptions for the items added by the Operation Anchorage and The Pitt DLCs. If you only have one or the other go to the textures folder and delete the folder named \"dlcpitt\" or \"dlcanch\" as appropriate. If you have neither, don\'t download the version with DLC in the name. The third file is simply a rar of all the mods incorporated into the mod pack. This is the closest you\'re going to get to a \"modular\" version. This mod pack contains: Fallout 3 Item Descriptions by Mikael Grizzly vel Tagaziel PipWare UI Mod v1. 2 by rebb BetterUI- Selection 1. 3 compiled by wirkoenntenaber, containing Fallout3_Interface_Mod_Revelation for font sizes \"PipWare_UI_v1_2\" combined rad/stats \"MTUI\" trade/crates Color Hi-Detailed map and icons (only I removed the recolored icons because I prefer the originals) FPS Crosshair by Lucassith Fullscreen LevelUp by jkjohn The DLC version also contains: Fallot 3 item descriptions for Anchorage and The Pitt by blakrajder

Features a color/hi detail map

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • One-stop shop for UI tweaks – saves you from hunting down separate mods
  • Solid community backing with 105 endorsements and 5,367 downloads
  • Covers multiple aspects of the interface: descriptions, crosshair, and map

⚠️ Cons

  • Last updated in 2009 – might be outdated for newer game versions
  • Compilation mods can conflict with other UI overhauls you might already have
  • No detailed breakdown of each included mod, so you might get extras you don't want
🎯 Is This For You?
For players who want a quick UI upgrade without installing multiple mods individually. If you're a completionist who likes having item descriptions and a crosshair, this pack is handy. Skip if you prefer fine-grained control over each UI element or use a more modern UI overhaul.
📦 Install:Easy· Under 1 minute

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Since this is a compilation, check if any of your other UI mods overlap – you might need to remove one to avoid conflicts.
  • If the game has been updated since 2009, test the mod in a safe save to ensure it still works.
  • Back up your original interface files before installing, just in case you want to revert.
