IX's NOCTURNE - A nightly ReShade.

Human eye is not good at seeing colors when there is little light in the ambient. The preset focuses at giving the game less vibrant colors to pursue a more nightly look whilst having red as a more prominent color as an aesthetic choice.

It's meant to be able to be used in any in-game scenario, be it daytime, nighttime, caves, dungeons, etc.

Expect blood, and specially fire to be a bit outstanding.

Keep in mind that this was made by someone who has photophobia and hates when ReShade presets are too dark.

Preventing excessive eyesore is one of the focuses, along with not too dark ambients (it does not make the dark less dark, though. You'll still need lanterns for the darkest places.)

A Monitor With Good Colors Is Recommended For The Main File.

This was made upon ECLIPSE preset and was heavily inspired by it.

Screenshots were taken with mods to remove Chromatic Aberration and Sharpness post effects from the game and using version 1. 0.

How to use/install:

- Install ReShade with default installation

- Put "reshade-shaders" inside game's "Game" folder (should be located in \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ELDEN RING\), alongside the game's .exe

- Go in-game and follow ReShade's tutorial and select wherever you placed the folder with the presets to locate them

Version Changelog:

- 1. 0: release, used on every screenshot that doesn't tell which version was used.

- 1. 1: Lightroom.fx added, used for increasing Shadow Curve.

- 1. 2: changed Lightroom to increase Gamma instead of Shadow Curve.

- 1. 3: removed Lightroom's Gamma change. Red vibrance increased from 2. 600 to 3. 200 on Vibrance.fx.

- 1. 3. 1: changed Vignette strenght to make it less white.

- 1. 3. 2: changed Levels.fx's "White Point" to 250 instead of 241.

- 1. 4: reverted all changes to 1. 0, changed FakeHDR.fx to make it so not many details are lost in the most dark and bright parts of the scene, removed Levels.fx. Overall performance improved (41 fps -> 45 fps on 4k resolution, every setting on low except Textures (max), AA (high), Shadows (high) and Global Illumination (high))

- 1. 4. 1: Added AdaptativeTonemapping to make dark areas slightly more visible. IIRC the red's vibrancy was increased from 2. 6 to 3. 2 from last version too.
