Great Shinobi Blade - Owl Moveset

A large odachi with pitch black fittings, worn on the back due to its great size. Paired with throwable shuriken and small smoke bombs.

The great blade is unadorned and unremarkable, suited only as a tool to mercilessly cut down the enemy. Shinobi seek to remain in the shadows, but in times of war, they would gladly paint the battlefield in blood.

Unique Combat Style

Shinobi are known for their versatility, and this moveset reflects that with many options in combat.

- Backflip off opponents -

After jumping, press jump again to spin into a heavy stomp. If this connects with an enemy, you will kick off them and backflip.

You can throw shuriken midair, activate Raven of the Mists, or rush back in with the sword after landing.

- Blocking replacement -

Blocking is replaced with a timed deflect that reduces damage and stamina loss.

After a deflect, quickly light attack for a fast counter, or heavy attack for a high-stagger option.

This mechanic has been improved from my older mods, and can now deflect very fast repeated attacks

 - Heavy attack feints -

Press dodge while charging a heavy attack to feint

Shuriken: Wide 5-shuriken throw

Sword: Smoke bomb that disorients the target

- Backstab -

Sword backstep attack rolls around opponent for a potential backstab

Backstab is a unique animation and quicker than normal

- Switch between forms -

While using shuriken, there are three alternate ways to quickly switch to the sword.

Sprinting heavy attack

Jumping shuriken throw > light attack after landing

Activating Raven of the Mists

Unique Skill: Raven of the Mists

Press L2 to vanish into the mist and quickly evade attack with a directional input, then reappear with a heavy downward slam.

Additional L2 inputs allow for two follow-ups, each serving as both evasion and attack.
