📋 About This Mod

Raya Lucaria Academy has missing geometry on buildings after the debate parlor Site of Grace! You have to disable this mod for

that area! Probably can be fixed by changing the right LoD value but as I have long finished the game someone else has to figure

that one out. You can safely remove and reinstall my mod between play sessions without any issues. As the game was played to 100% (all quests, items, etc.) the only other issue you might encounter is shadow flickering depending on your lighting and raytracing settings.

NOTICE: I 100% the game after 1. 13 and hence don't have the game anymore. But thanks to GrandisTectona who used my csvs to add the modifications to the latest version of Elden Ring as of writing this (1. 16) I was still able to upload the regulation.bin for ease of use. The csvs under optional files should still work fine if you want to manually merge instead.

I used a lot of mods before the DLC came out to improve the experience I had with the game. Sadly many of them were never updated or remade by people who either screwed up some values (like creating crashes for Draw Distance and grass mods) or didn't include the new DLC areas. This was made for 1. 13 but I included .csv files to make it easy to use it in future versions or combine it with other mods.

I made my mod compatible with the force dynamic shadows mod - you don't need the regulation.bin file from the force dynamic shadows mod anymore but you DO need the sfx files (https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/mods/5066?tab=files). Highly recommend using this as it has almost no performance penalty but is a huge visual upgrade to lights and shadows.

Other mods I'm using combined with my regulation.bin mod are Bardos 4k textures (https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/mods/2431), most mods from TechieW (https://next.nexusmods.com/profile/TechieW/mods?gameId=4333) and RT ambient occlusion+8kShadows (https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/mods/4402).

If you are playing in 4k I also recommend using the temporal upscaling mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/mods/4513?tab=description

Features of this mod:

Less fog/haze (keeps all volumetric fog to make swamps and similar foggy areas still look great but reduces the general haziness especially at a distance by a lot - also removes two lategame heavy weather effects as those variables overlap)

Improved draw distance (makes objects visible from further away - this skips things which causes other draw distance mods to crash the game sometimes and also includes everything from the DLC)

Improved LoD (loads higher level of detail models and textures from further away and objects which won't destroy performance will always load at the highest LoD no matter the distance to reduce the pop-in Elden Ring natively has - the rest of the pop-in is engine related and can't be fixed)

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

This all-in-one mod by Everfades enhances visual fidelity with improved LoD, grass, draw distance, trees, and reduced haze/fog, while also fixing the late-game damage spike for base game and DLC, including NG+. 📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Two-in-one value: visual upgrades plus a lategame balance fix in a single download.
  • Decent traction with 59 endorsements and over 3,000 downloads.
  • Covers NG+ so your post-game runs get the same damage tuning.

⚠️ Cons

  • No detailed install instructions or compatibility notes provided by the author.
  • Last updated March 2025 — may not be compatible with future game patches.
  • Visual changes are broad; no screenshots or comparison images to preview the effect.
🎯 Is This For You?
For players who want a quick visual polish and a lategame difficulty fix without juggling multiple mods. Also suits NG+ runners tired of the damage spike. Skip if you prefer separate mods for visuals and gameplay, or if you want detailed customization.
