📋 About This Mod
Have you ever felt like some game mechanics don't make any sense?
Like all weapons doing about the same damage with small differences in each class, common starting weapons being stronger than late game boss weapons, or leather boxers and whips being better than actual steel weapons? Bows shooting slow-mo or a full body steel armor giving almost the same protection as being naked? Lava doing almost no damage? Big AoE attacks barely doing any damage? Most shields being useless? Or 4 magic great bolts doing almost the same damage as 1?
Than this mod is for you!
Main features:
- More useful, balanced magic and sorcery
Some spells have more range and damage, but cost more FP, buffs last longer, powerfull spells take 2 slots, normal ones take 1
"Big bonk and AoE" spells are actually strong now but cost more FP, made a lot of useless spell actually viable now.
- Better armors
Increased poise, resistance and defense for most armors.
- Unique and legendary weapons are stronger now and can be buffed
- Item upgrades now only costs half amount of smithing stones each level (2/4/6 -> 1/2/3)
So you don't have to grind for eternity to upgrade a few weapons.
- Reworked many item prices that were way too high or low
You sell stuff for more runes, the rarer it is. Prices now reflect the quality of the armor/weapon.
- NPC changes(some examples):
Malenia's hp got nerfed a bit (she had more hp than Placidusax lol).
Radahn has bit more hp and damage now, he deserves it. :3
HP and poise increased for giant enemies like dragons, giants, golems...
Logical HP (few examples: White wolfs don't have 9x the hp of a normal wolf anymore, makes no sense, nerfed Page's hp, they were unreasonably tanky for a light armored enemy).
- Bows deal a bit more damage and have better range, and arrows fly 1. 5x faster now, arrow capacity increased.
- Minimal tweaks to starting classes and keepsakes
Samurai or Vagabond are now higher levels by default, while classes like wretch are lower.
- Poise damage changes
colossal weapons: 7 -> 9
colossal swords: 6 -> 8
great hammers: 6 -> 8
(curved)greatswords: 5. 5 -> 7
great axes: 5. 5 -> 7
hammers: 6 -> 7
great spears: 5. 5 -> 7
great katanas: 5. 5 -> 7
halberds: 5 -> 6
reapers: 5 -> 5. 5
- Better Shields
By deafult shields are useless compared to dodging because they take more stamina and don't even negate all the damage, so:
- 1. 25x guard absorption (less stamina damage)
- 1. 2x (elemental) damage negation
- 2x resistance against status
