ER2: Asset Streaming Overhaul

This BepInEx IL2CPP plugin extends the draw distance of props, buildings, foliage etc. at minimal cost to performance.

• []Boosts object draw distance across all levels of render distance settings [/]

  []Context-based scaling (lighter settings on the ground & full in the air )[/]

  []Customizable presets[/]

  []Global Override (Performance / Quality Focus, can be applied on top of any preset)[/]

  []Reduces visuals when FPS gets bad (disabled while Quality Focus is on)

  P. S. Quality Focus disables some of the optimization features, while Performance Focus makes the optimization more aggressive at the cost of visuals.[/]

  []Vehicles that you occupy are forced to use highest quality model regardless of your render distance setting.[/]

Default In-Game Controls (Numpad Only, Customizable)

" 0 " — Turns the plugin off

" 1 " — Preset: Balanced

" 2 " — Preset: Quality

" 3 " — Preset: Custom

" 5 " — Performance Focus override toggle

" 6 "  — Quality Focus override toggle

• []LOD model switch distance is determined by in-game render distance setting and not affected by this plugin[/]

  []Doesn't eliminate pop-ins completely (mostly due to the limitation of ER2 itself). For instance, If you spawn in a plane, you have to fly around a bit in order for all the assets around you to load in, most of which will stay loaded in until completely out of your vision range.[/]

  []Low render distance settings will handicap this plugin no matter the preset[/]

Installation

• []Download and extract BepInEx-Unity. IL2CPP-win-x64 or the equivalent for your platform to the Easy Red 2 folder.[/]

  []Put the . DLL file in the Easy Red 2\BepInEx\plugins folder.[/]
