Refreshing Orbs

Description

In LoA you can have only one orb spell active. If you want to switch to a different one you need to wait for the timer to finish or to die. This mod makes a new orb spell cast replace the older one. There are two options:

• []Refreshing Orbs - Longer duration.dsres - This uses a flat 1 hour duration for any new orb, so you won't need to waste a lot of mana when applying a new orb. This is the more streamlined version. You won't need to worry about the timer ever running out. (The spell description and written duration wasn't changed to have as high compatibility as possible). [/]

  []Refreshing Orbs - Original duration - This uses the original durations, it only changes the ability to switch to a new orb without waiting out for the orb timer to run out. Switching to a new orb will reset that duration, so you will need to reapply it and use a lot of mana to get a reasonable duration going. This is a more challenging version as you will need to reapply the orbs as in the base game.[/]

  Installation instructions

  Extract the desired  zip file and put the dsres file into you DSLOA folder:

    []For Steam Version: C:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/Dungeon Siege/DSLOA[/]

    Requirements

    Dungeon Siege LoA. That's it.

    Compatibilities

    Should be compatible with any mod out there, only these that change specifically the orb spells code will conflict. New custom orb spells should work with this mod as well.
