I am undertaking a project to upload and preserve any and all Dungeon Siege resources that are difficult/impossible to find on the web as old Dungeon Siege websites have gone down. I have been retrieving as much information about these mods as I possibly can from The Wayback Machine and other archived forum sites.

In most cases it is impossible to contact the original author. I will make every attempt to do so in cases where an email is visible. However, if you are the original author and do not wish to have your content on NexusMods, please let me know and I will have this removed!

DSX Mod v1. 6

What it does: 

• []Upgrade the base Dungeon Siege game.

  []DSX Mod works with all versions of Dungeon Siege including Legends of Aranna.

  []The main goal was to give some respect to mages and archers.

  []Many other features came along.

• []Any version of Dungeon Siege (duh)

  []Minimum Screen Resolution of 1024x768

  []When playing multiplayer, all players must have this mod in order to play together

  NOTE:

  If you see missing spells with a purple icon, that indicates that Legends of Aranna is not installed and that feature requires a resource from LoA so may not work fully.

  How to Install:

  • []Place the .dsres in your Dungeon Siege\Resources folder and start the game.

  • []Fixes some spells from v1. 53 that caused the game to crash and return an exception.

  Camera

  • []Minimap borders have been removed.

    []Minimap discovery radius as been increased.

    Experience

    • []Experience gained has been multiplied by 4.

      []Experience gained is stated in the in-game players list menu.

      Inventory

      • []The inventory has been increased to 12 columns.

        []The backpack inventory has been increased to 13 rows.

        []Max gold capacity : 999,999,999,999. Yes, that's right, there's nothing you can't buy!

        []Fade inventory background.

        []Multi-player trade has been resized to fit the new inventory.

        []Auto-Sort Inventory hotkey removed (THANK GOODNESS!)

        []NOTE: To get the DSX Mod to work in one file, the animal pack inventory is slightly screwed up (only in single player mode though).

        []For the same reason, the multiplayer inventory trade is a bit weird but works fine.

        []IMPORTANT: If you remove the DSX Mod... be careful to empty your inventory. Otherwise some of your items may vanish.

            []Creature summoning spells cost less Mana and duration has been increased.

            []All spells level up to 180.

            Melee

            • []Melee attack speed increase with skill levels.

            Monsters
            • []Monsters now have more hit points.

              []Melee attack, ranged attack and sight range has been increased.

              []Chickens give more experience and more items.

              Range

              []Ranged attack speed increases with skill levels.

              []Attack range increases with skill levels.

              []Bows, crossbows and special gun alterati
