Leech Life - fixed scaling

I've been playing Dungeon Siege for... oh god, 24 years now? Yeah. 24 years.

Do you remember the first time you picked up Leech Life and went "sweet, that dude's HP is mine now!"? I do.  I also remember the first time I actually used it and went "...wow, actually this sucks."

It wasn't until 2025 that I found a mention by somebody that there are clues in the game content and engine code that Leech Life was supposed to be SIGNIFICANTLY more burly than what got shipped with the game. It was, in fact (supposedly) meant to be a pretty powerful mid-late game spell. But it's not, because it's locked at its level 1 stats and doesn't scale up in effectiveness with your Combat Magic level, the way other spells do.

So I fixed it.

I have a hunch WHY it shipped the way it did, now - getting this spell to be useful without being overpowering is actually pretty tricky. It's basically an infinite health potion that also hurts your enemies. In the hands of a smart caster, a straight scaling spell would be overpowered, and I suspect that's what they found in playtesting and instead of burning a bunch of time trying to fix it without success, they locked it at level 1 and went "we have a hundred other spells, oh well."

But... Leech Life now scales with your Combat Magic level. It does taper off towards later levels so that it doesn't displace other spells. This should - should - keep it from making other spells entirely pointless.

Basically, if you've played Lands of Hyperborea by Xaa (and who hasn't by now?) it's kind of similar to the version of Leech Life in that, in spirit, although without the really fast cast rate his version had.

If the spell shows up named as "Tear Life" instead of "Leech Life", the mod should be working. If you whip this out as a lvl 50 mage and it takes a Wraith Fighter's head smoove off, it's definitely working.
