Abstraction

Abstraction is a comprehensive modification (siegelet) for Dungeon Siege, offering new maps, characters, quests, and gameplay mechanics. This project aims to enhance and expand the original Dungeon Siege experience with a wealth of new content and features.

  []Enhanced Gameplay Mechanics: Introducing the Hand Skill, a new combat style focusing on hand-to-hand and leg combat, with balanced stat growth.[/]

  []Dynamic Difficulty Levels: Four levels of multiplayer difficulty: Regular, Veteran, Elite, and Visionary. Monsters scale according to your level, providing a constant challenge.[/]

  []Quests and Storyline: An engaging storyline with numerous quests for both single-player and multiplayer modes.[/]

  []Custom Content: New mobs, weapons, and NPCs, along with unique decorations and graphical enhancements.[/]

  New Monsters

  • []Balor: A family of fearsome creatures, ranging from the Balor Brute, a hand-to-hand fighter, to the Balor Mage and the formidable Balor Champion.[/]

    []Satyr: Axe-wielding brutes, slow but powerful.[/]

    []Balrog: A fearsome foe, though surprisingly cuddly when played as a PC.[/]

    New Animals

    Encounter new animals in the world of Abstraction, each adding to the diverse ecosystem.

    • []Bison: A relative of the cow with a temper if you get too close.[/]

      []Pillbug: Innocuous-looking but beware of bug bites.[/]

      []Buck: Basically a deer with antlers.[/]

      []Snake: Be cautious around these, as some player characters can summon them.[/]

    In multiplayer, you'll have a variety of new characters to choose from. Single-player will primarily feature the Female or Male Sea Elf.
