Ryza as Orthello with Hair Cape Physics - Character Model Replacer

Description

This mod replaces Orthello's visible character model with Ryza.

This is a visual character replacement only. Ryza takes Orthello's place visually, but nothing about Orthello's actual kit or playstyle is changed.

I made this because I wanted to see how Ryza would look in Orthello's slot, while still keeping his original weapon style, voice, and gameplay. The result ended up working surprisingly well.

Physics and model adjustments

This version includes physics on:

  []Ryza's cape [/]

To make the swap work better, I removed the two front cape panels, because they could not be mapped properly and could not support usable physics in this slot.

The front and back skirt panels do not have physics in this version.

There is also some minor clipping between the far-right cape section and the arm. It is visible in certain situations, but it does not affect gameplay.

    These are visual limitations only and do not prevent normal gameplay.

    Installation

    Extract the archive and place the included

    .pakfile in:

    DragonSword Awakening\DS\Content\Paks\~mods\If the

    ~modsfolder does not exist, create it.

    Uninstallation

    Delete the mod's

    .pakfile from the

    ~modsfolder.

    Compatibility

    This mod may conflict with other mods that replace Orthello's character model or edit the same mesh assets.

    Use only one Orthello model replacer at a time.

    Notes

    Since Ryza is originally a spear user, I wanted to place her over another spear-wielding character rather than force her into a completely different weapon style. Orthello felt like the most natural choice.

    Only his visible character model is replaced. His weapon, voice, skills, animations, VFX, stats, and gameplay remain unchanged.
