📋 About This Mod

Urael’s Warfarer Convenience lets you edit all six weapon skills and augments, assign your own custom Rearmament keybind or controller command, save complete builds by weapon type, and automatically swap Warfarer presets when changing

Urael's Warfarer Convenience

Six-Slot Builds • Weapon Presets • Automatic Loadout Swapping • Dedicated Rearmament • Keyboard & Controller Support

Built for Dragon's Dogma 2's expanded six-skill system.

Urael's Warfarer Convenience lets you edit weapon skills and augments directly through REFramework, save complete builds for individual weapon types, automatically swap Warfarer loadouts when changing weapons, and use Rearmament without sacrificing one of your six combat skill slots. No more returning to the Vocation Guild every time you want to rebuild your Warfarer or Main Pawn.

New in v1. 1. 0

The skill-selection system has been substantially rebuilt around Dragon's Dogma 2's own runtime data.

Correct Skill Availability

UWC now distinguishes between:

  • []Skills that are valid for a weapon [/]

[]Skills the character has actually learned [/]

[]Whether the character owns the base or upgraded version [/]

Only skills the Arisen or Main Pawn currently has access to are shown.

For example:

  • []A character with Blink Strike but not its upgrade sees Blink Strike [/]

[]After upgrading it, UWC displays Burst Strike [/]

[]Skills that have not been learned do not appear at all [/]

This applies independently to the Arisen and Main Pawn.

Improved Weapon Skill Catalogs

UWC now uses DD2's native weapon/vocation compatibility instead of relying on internal vocation-name assumptions.

This fixes several previously incomplete cases, including:

  • []Mage / Staff [/]

    []Sorcerer / Archistaff [/]

    []Trickster / Censer [/]

[]Skills shared across multiple vocations [/]

For example, Mage-origin spells that DD2 legitimately allows Sorcerers to use now correctly appear in the Archistaff list.

Staff spell names that previously appeared as internal entries such as:

<REF job03_skill_XX_lv2>are now resolved to their proper in-game names.

Rearmament Queue Fix

UWC no longer maintains its own authoritative weapon-ID rotation.

Dragon's Dogma 2 now completely controls the Rearmament weapon queue.

This prevents Rearmament from failing when:

  • []A weapon is replaced with another weapon of the same type [/]

[]DD2 changes an internal weapon ID [/]

[]UWC's previously saved weapon information no longer matches the game's native queue [/]

The mod now simply requests Rearmament through DD2's native processing path and allows the game to handle the actual weapon rotation.

Dedicated Rearmament

Warfarer does not need to permanently sacrifice one of its six skill slots to Rearmament.

During normal gameplay:

All six visible slots remain normal combat skills. When your Rearmament hotkey is pressed:

UWC sends Rearmament through DD2's native Warfarer skill-processing system. The game remains responsible for:

  • []Weapon swapping [/]

    []Animation [/]

    []Equipment handling [/]

    []Rearmament order [/]

    []Weapon state [/]

Recommended Controller Bind

L3 + R1Keyboard bindings can also use optional:

  • []Ctrl [/]

    []Shift [/]

    []Alt [/]

Both keyboard and controller bindings may be enabled simultaneously.

Managing Rearmament Weapons

Use DD2's normal Equipment → Edit Rearmament Weapon interface. While the pause/inventory menu is open, UWC temporarily exposes Rearmament so DD2's normal weapon-management interface remains available. When gameplay resumes, your sixth combat skill is restored automatically. This means DD2 itself remains responsible for adding, removing, and ordering Rearmament weapons.
