Loot Locator Mod

Shows floating text over nearby gatherables, dropped items, chests, and corpses so you don't miss them. Completely rewritten from scratch to fix the stuck text and memory leak issues from similar mods.

Live Tracking - See names of nearby plants, ore, and monster drops. Basically everything that is gatherable.

Corpse Detection - Unlooted bodies get a colored "Corpse" tag.

Chest & Tokens - Spot Treasure Chests, Riftstones, and Seeker's Tokens easily.

Instant Update - The exact moment you gather/loot something, the text vanishes. No ghost texts appearing.

Settings

Press Insert to open the REFramework window. Under Script Generated UI -> Loot Locator, you can:

- Adjust the scanning distance range.

- Change the text color using a color picker.

- Toggle specific tracking on/off (Hide Corpses, Hide Names).

Installation

Install REFramework. Download this mod's ZIP file. Extract dd2_loot_locator.lua into your Dragons Dogma 2\reframework\autorun folder. !!! If you have other loot overlay mods installed, you must delete them first to prevent conflicts.

Uninstallation Delete dd2_loot_locator.lua from your autorun folder.

WIP MOD

- Currently I'm still expanding the ID name list! (You might see gatherable ID or gm_ID on some lootable objects.)

- Picking up and carrying a lootable corpse removes the text overlay.

- I am actively updating the ignore list to filter out useless items and mapping more unknown item IDs to proper names over time in future updates.
