📋 About This Mod
Inspired by Masterworks All, this mod aims to overhaul the game's smithing styles as well as apply various equipment stat tweaks without permanently modifying game data.
You guys should join Nick's discord server - you're more likely to get a response from me there.
Requires RE Framework and _NickCore.
Unfortunately, Content Editor isn't fully working as of now so modded gear can't be modified.
This was supposed to be simply a script version of Masterworks All but ideas kept coming in and now it became bigger than what was initially planned. Since this was inspired by Masterworks All, expect some changes I've made to be similar, so you should check its modpage as well for comparison.
You can also turn certain features on/off - just go to "diacyst/Config" to find the designated file. Alternatively, there are 2 premodified config files in the Optional section - Vanilla-Like Settings and Level Module Mode. Vanilla-Like Settings gives stats similar to the vanilla experience while Level Module Mode computes only the levels for mods that need them.
TERMS USED IN ESO
Some stats will be referred to as the following:
-
[]Physical Attack = STR[/]
[]Magick Attack = MAG[/]
[]Knockdown Power = KDP[/]
[]Knockdown Guard = KDG[/]
[]Physical Defense = DEF[/]
[]Magick Defense = MDF[/]
[]Knockdown Resistance = KDR[/]
[]Caught-Fire/Torched - Burn[/]
[]Frostbite/Ice-Bound - Freeze[/]
[]Unconscious - Faint[/]
Best Stat is a stat of what's considered to be the best-in-slot gear of each vocation. If an item is usable by multiple vocations, then the best stats for that item type will be the average of the stats of the the best-in-slot gear of the same type on all vocations that are compatible with it. There's an option to use the highest possible stats instead in the Config file.
Final Stats are what a weapon's stats will be once fully upgraded - some equipment may have lower final stats due to their special effects.
Strike Power is a hidden stat used by blunt weapons - similar to lightning attacks, it can inflict Unconscious.
Knockdown Guard (KDG) is a hidden stat used by shields, staves, and archistaves - I think it determines how effectively an item can guard against stagger and knockdown.
Misc Gear comprises of cloaks and facewear - they're mainly for cosmestics, offering little to no protection and resistances in vanilla.
DETAILS
Some items have been altered, primarily due to preference. You can check the articles section for specific changes made to certain equipment. Note that the percentages are based on the default value of the stat adjustment variable in the Config file.
[]All elemental weapons used by physical vocations get a 5% nerf to their final STR and final KDP due to their innate elemental damage. Those equipped by magick vocations get a 10% nerf to their final KDP.[/]
[]All blunt weapons get a 10% boost to their final KDP but also get a 10% nerf to their final STR. Shields now get strike power, which is half of what maces have, but they're not treated as blunt weapons. Certain shields have higher strike power than others.[/]
[]All debilitating weapons get a 10% nerf to their final KDP.[/]
[]If the Rebalance Equipment option is enabled, endgame gear now have the same prices according to item type. MSI can also add them in the Dragonforged's shop.[/]
[]Misc gear have their base physical resistances set to 1%, their base elemental resistances set to 3%, and their debilitation resistances set to 5%.[/]
[]If the Aggrandize Smithing Styles option is enabled, weapons' elemental power, strike power, and debilitation power are halved.[/]
[*]Some ring effects adapt to mods that change values of augments while others are straight-up improved. For exam
