Auto Sliders for Character Creator

This is the nexus upload of my mod, however for the most up-to-date discussion, issues, and fixes, please see the Github.

Why is this mod always quarantined?

Two reasons I can find:

1. Because most of the zips I upload are built with a python to exe program that generates a zip within a zip.

2. Because it controls your keyboard to move the sliders. As such, VirusTotal flags it as potentially malicious as a 'keylogger'. However, you can review the code on github and see the code.

Main

This python script takes two ini files. A default profile which is used to find the original value, and a target profile which is the desired presets.

The script then goes through each page simulating key presses to set the 'default' character to the desired.

It can be ran as a native python file, or by using the .exe available in the releases.

(If you don't have python, or are not familiar with python, just download the .zip which includes a .exe from github until Nexus Manually approves)

Usage

• 1.) Open Char Gen ingame or in demo

  2.) Create new (See gifs at bottom of page)

  3.) Pick far left body

  4.) Pick middle face

  5.) Open first section of the CC page (Detailed Customization -> Body)

  6.) Click 'DD2AutoSlider.exe' and wait for the GUI to open (may be necessary to run in admin mode)

  7.) Select default body in tool GUI

  8.) Click 'Browse' and pick character preset/template file

  8.a) Tick the box for 'DD2 CC' if you are using the 'Character Creator Demo'

  9.) Click 'Run'

As of v0. 0. 9, a new .exe and python script is included named DD2AutoSlider-Creator.

It is a commandline script to help you create new presets!

You select the base/default, then can enter for each section.

If you wish to skip the rest of the tool, type 'skip' in a field where

it expects a number (So an attribute, not asking if you want to skip a section)

If you want to add a preset to the templates folder, please open an issue and use the 'template/preset' option OR for

pull/code credit, open a Pull Request with it!
