Reynard's "Search Party" Quest has 3 phases, the first appears after you've bought something from him 10 separate times. Once you've turned the first item he asks for in, Scrap Iron, the next part of the quest starts after you've bought something from him 5 more separate times. After turning in the Miasmite he asks for, you need to buy another 10 things, again with each transaction being separate from one another. He'll then finally give you the main part of the quest where you find his father's journals.
That means you have to talk to him, buy something, completely exit out of his interface (just going back to his "main menu" doesn't count, you have to leave the conversation) 25 different times. I always thought this was too much. At first I had thought of making it something like, 3, 5, 8, but then decided to make it just 1. So with this mod, the whole quest will be available after you make your first purchase or get your first enhancement from Reynard. Makes the quest a lot less tedious.
This tweak for Dragon's Dogma 2 modifies Reynard's 'Search Party' quest trigger, starting it after your first purchase or enhancement instead of requiring 25 total purchases.
