📋 About This Mod
4K Vanilla+ ENCB robes with LODs. Numerous revisions, corrections and upgrades while remaining mostly true to the original.
’n+ Reaper Redone (& other robes using 'encb' textures)
Archon Robes, Tevinter Mage Robes, Tevinter Enchanter's Robes, Robes of the Magister Lords, and last but not least, my favorite, Reaper's Vestments!
My 'NillaPlus series makes the crossover to DA:O! Per usual, it's vanilla-style with enhancements.
[]Meticulous upscaling of maps. Each one upscaled several ways (using different models) then 'collaged' back together with the best parts of each upscale.[/]
[]Regeneration of some normals, added and blended in new textures and enhanced shapes.[/]
[]Spec was trash, I made a new one, referencing the original but using the higher quality diffuse artwork (the collage of upscales). Then adjusted colors and levels to what the spec map calls for.[/]
[]Completely regenerated the tint mask, also from diffuse - the vanilla one was half scale, poor quality, and contained mistakes put there by the original game artists! One of the biggest errors I fixed is the colors between the laces on the stomach. They had that whole area laces and all tinted the same. That material behind the laces is supposed to be the same material as the top (with the floral pattern, which continues behind the laces) and bottom (the "mage dong" - don't look at me, I just upscaled it)! It was definitely a vanilla oversight.[/]
[]I also added finer leather-grain texture to the mage dong portion (okay I'll stop saying that) so it matches the upper portion's texture (i have a feeling the vanilla tintmask misinterpretation cascaded into this being missed as well).[/]
[]The skin tint also needed fixing, for every POC warden, companion, or npc wearing this. As you can see in my screenshots my warden is a dark-skinned elf. The vanilla had 'caucasian' lines around the armband, because a) caucasian is default (all other skin colors are a tint adjustment to a pale caucasian skin tone in the texture) and b) the mask did not line up properly. Way to go BioUnaware[/]
[]I made a new gem, and I RARELY do this but the UV stretching in the mesh is very badly done there, and I had to stretch and rotate my texture to compensate. You'll have to try hard to see it up close, but it's a lot better now, even despite the weird skewing there.[/]
[]Fancy dress shoe soles for the bottom of the feet. Because.[/]
[*]Scales around the waist are now excluded from tints. My interpretation of the original art is that they most closely resemble overlapping metal scales with some heavy
