- Hair n Head is Dragon Age 2 mod which improves (player/game actors) facial skin -Faces and changes how human and other in game used Hairs (male beards as well) look.
- So what my mod does? Don\'t expect here some brand-new hairstyles or new skin / make-up textures but do expect that everyone in your game start to look better and more like real person! All (in game) hairs will be more real - as if freshly washed (human) hair and (player/NPCs) faces - their skin and mouth will have more obvious glow (low key shine). Character good-looks will be improved as all facial expressions regardless of (facial) skin texture used will work better / look more life-like. (Model level tweaks / changes applied).
- Regardless of all above still being, true - original game face / hairs files were too screwed-up - thus, approach that is much more radical was necessary - namely \"new\" full set of all (game standard) face textures. Net result is (M/F) faces which, finally, match (naked) bodies! ;) If you have my (adult mod) Girls (Thor\'s female Bodies n Exhilarants\' cut-down female Armors) or my (tattooed) Male I think, you will be very pleasantly surprised with results.
- If your question is: Does these improvements apply to all faces / bodies combos out there? - answer is - of course not! I have tried that \"one-size-fits-all\" approach in my previous version - which works fine and delivers valid goods but overall effect has proven, to some, as too subtle n too weak. Nevertheless, this (v1. 3) version is still valid choice for other then mine mods - face textures / overall cosmetics.
- To install you need to navigate to your BioWare game folder in Your Documents \\BioWare\\Dragon Age 2 and drag n drop / copy - paste my Dragon Age 2 (mod) file folder there. Allow overwrite. That is all you need to do.
- If you don\'t like this new look, simply delete / remove Dalls_Hair_n_Head.erf file from BioWare\\Dragon Age 2\\packages\\core\\override\\ and original look will be restored to your game.
- Bugs/conflicts: none known but compatibility with other hair - face changing or wholesale altering (cosmetic) mods might exist or pose a problem depending on what they change. As there is no straight answer to this, I would suggest instead - you to try it with any of those - other cosmetics mods and see for yourself what happen. These (new) face textures like all other re-textures I make are aimed at / will work best with (game) GAMMA Video settings somewhere in-between 1. 6 - 2. 4!
