]Extract the file into Steam/steamapps/common/DOOMEternal/base.[]Open candidate.cfg using your favourite text editor and appending the following text at line 13: exec potato.cfg
[]Open potato.cfg and comment all the options you don't want to change.
[]Linux Only: Download Proton GE using protonup or proton plus. Once it is installed restart steam, change the default proton version to Proton GE. After this, right click on Doom Eternal from your library list, left click on Properties and paste the following line LD_PRELOAD="" WINEDLLOVERRIDES='XINPUT1_3.dll'='n,b' %command% +com_skipIntroVideo 1. Done! This will unlock the required Cvars for this mod to work without the mod portal. If you are playing through the mod portal you won't need this extra step.
