Jewel To Gemstone

Overview

The Jewel To Gemstone mod allows you to convert any jewel into a random perfect gemstone. Due to technical limitations, it is not possible to guarantee that the color of the original jewel will match the color of the resulting gemstone. Instead, the type of perfect gemstone produced is determined randomly, based on the properties of the jewel being converted.

How Gemstone Generation Works

• []The mod uses the properties (affixes) of each jewel to influence which perfect gemstone is created.

[]Some jewel properties are more common than others, which means certain gemstone types may appear more frequently as a result.

[]This can lead to an uneven distribution of gemstone colors when converting large numbers of jewels.

Randomization and Seeds

• []To give players more control over the randomness, the mod includes a "Seed" setting.

[]The seed is a number between 0 and 4294967295. It determines how the random number generator assigns a gemstone type to each jewel property.

[]The randomization is deterministic: using the same seed will always produce the same gemstone results for the same jewels.

Example Seeds and Outcomes

• []12345: Most gemstones will be purple, white, blue, or yellow.

[]10000: Most gemstones will be purple, yellow, or white.

• 51441: Most gemstones will be red, green, blue, or purple.

By changing the seed, you can influence which gemstone colors appear most frequently when converting jewels.
