Runeword Jewels

This mod introduces a new gameplay feature by enabling runewords to be applied to jewels through simple Horadric Cube recipes. Players can craft powerful runeword jewels to enhance their builds in fresh and creative ways.

How does it work?

To craft runeword jewels, combine any magic or rare jewel with the runes for the runeword in the Horadric Cube.

Key Features:

• []Allows you to create runeword jewels - jewels that replicate the effects of runewords and can then be socketed into items, expanding your customization options.

  []Runeword jewels can be crafted easily using straightforward cube recipes.

  []Runeword jewels can optionally be enabled to spawn naturally in the game, with this setting controlled via D2R Mod Manager (D2RMM) for a customized loot experience.

  Known Issues:

  • []Not compatible with using Generated Runewords and Fused Uniques for D2RMM together. You can use either one individually, but not both at the same time. If you try to use both, the uniqueitems table will exceed its maximum limit of 4096 rows, resulting in only yellow jewels being generated.

    []The Buffed Runeword Items mod from Tal Rasha Prime changes the rune combinations required for Spirit and Mosaic. Please be aware of this adjustment.

    []The cube recipe for the Hustle weapon is different: Shael + Ko + Eld + Town Portal Scroll + Jewel.

    []Diablo II has a hardcoded 8 KB limit for each character save (.d2s) file. Filling your inventory, stash, and equipped items with jewels, runeword effects, or heavily-modified items can quickly reach this cap and cause item loss after save and exit. You can check your save file sizes in the Saved Games folder to avoid problems.

    []Shared stash pages also have their own data limits. Storing too many powerful jewels or unique items on one page can trigger deletions. If your stash is very full, consider spreading items across multiple pages to prevent this issue.
