- Because of the recent DMC HDC Steam update (08/01/2023), DDMK mod won't allow you to open the game. The solution for now is to downgrade your game executables in which can be found here.

• []Open the Folder/File Explorer Options > View > uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types".

  []Download a mod and rename it to "dmc3-1.nbz". (Ex: Nintendo_Switch_Pro_Controller_Button_Prompts_Mod.zip -> dmc3-1.nbz)

  []Move the renamed file inside "DMC HDC game folder\data\dmc3".

  []Run the game and it should show B as the Confirm button.

  Can you add another texture mods in there? Yes.

  - Open "dmc3-1.nbz" using 7zip/WinRAR then place the mods inside the "GData.afs" folder.

  To uninstall the mod, delete "dmc3-1.nbz".

  Method 2: (assuming that you have DDMK installed; ignore Step 1 and 2 for DMC3 Crimson):

  • []Launch DMC3 and enter DDMK settings (Ctrl+D).

    []Go to System and make sure "Prefer Local Files" is checked then exit the game.

    []Go to your install directory for DMC HD Collection.

    []Extract the "GData.afs" folder to "DMC HDC game folder\data\dmc3".

  • Run the game and it should show B as the Confirm button.

  To uninstall, just delete the "GData.afs" folder.
