Devil May Cry 3 - ALL PS2 Textures Restored

There are a lot of problems with DMC3 in DMC HD Collection. We can't fix all of them (yet?) but this is a start.

This mod replaces all HDC-style "upscaled" textures — over 4400 images — with their original PS2 counterparts.

See Images tab for a few comparison shots; installation instructions included in download.

You will need to install Serpentiem's legendary DDMK mod first.

Before you ask, I don't know what setup is required to use this mod with Crimson. I'll look into it when/if Crimson is updated with features I want.

There are two different versions of the mod. The "Purist" version ONLY swaps in the corresponding PS2 textures, with no other changes.

The main version of the mod is nearly identical, but it uses Rebellion's and Sparda's cutscene devil trigger textures.

The main version also erases the completely broken black smoke effect in the sky of Mission 20. I wish I could just fix the smoke, but until that

opportunity comes, at least we can match the cutscenes where there is none of that smoke anyway.

I also highly recommend using these two mods:

Thank you Shocka for greatly helping me set up the batch conversion of textures across different formats.
